We think of Made in Italy as a concept rooted in Italian identity in various aspects, both economic and cultural. Made in Italy represents the true heritage of our identity, a unique way of life that manifests in the fundamental values of quality, craftsmanship, and authenticity, celebrated and recognized worldwide. This excellence finds an exceptional showcase at Fondazione Fiera Milano, which has collected the history of Made in Italy in its archives through photographs and documents related to the greatest symbols of Italy in the world, from food to fashion, from design to motors.

A fundamental role in the development and celebration of Made in Italy has been played by Fiera Milano, Italy’s most important trade fair, which has established itself as a pillar for the international launch of many sectors. Thanks to iconic events such as the Fiera Campionaria (Milan Trade Fair) and later the Salone del Mobile (Milan Furniture Fair), Italian furniture received the global attention it deserved for the first time, becoming an emblem of style and design recognized worldwide.

The pleasure evoked by wearing a garment that speaks of expert hands and excellent materials makes us think of the great tradition of Italian fashion and its connection to the city of Milan, both recognized globally as forerunners in this sector.

Italian food, recognized worldwide as a symbol of excellence, is not just about the product itself, but the experiential and cultural journey behind every bite and the history of the companies that have contributed to making it as we know it today. Made in Italy is proudly expressed in Italian gastronomic traditions, where flavors and aromas tell the story of the territories and their characteristics. At the Fiera Campionaria in Milan, food excellence has found space for decades, and historical brands have brought Italian quality and tradition to tables.

It is impossible not to think of the automotive world when talking about the excellence of Italian companies. The history of Fiat, the victories of Ferrari, and the great “Land of Motors” have made Italy a pioneer in the automotive sector, focusing international attention on our country.

Made in Italy is a heritage to be protected and promoted, because it brings to the world not only products, but also a unique way of life and thinking that continues to captivate generations. What makes it special is the attention to detail, quality, and above all, the ability to innovate without ever betraying its origins. Fiera Milano, through its events and history, represents a precious custodian of this identity.
