The Archive holds various collections. Among the most fascinating are a collection of around 100 historical posters advertising the Milan Fair and various specialist shows (1923–1990), held in a variety of formats and languages (up to twenty-five foreign languages for each edition), and the photographic collection, containing over 500,000 pictures, from the Milan International of 1906 through to the early 1990s. Alongside a section made up exclusively of documentary records managed directly by the Archive, over the years a separate Special Collections section has been created, featuring a periodicals library and collections of objects and works produced and kept by the Milan Fair Board over one hundred years of activity.
